Has it ever happened to you to do something without thinking about it? I planted a Demo with my CEs, then attacked the enemy with my T70, 2 cons and 1 shock back then when infantry used to clump outside of cover. I detonated the demo charge and lost my whole army. I don't know why I did that... just hover the mouse over it and BOOM.

I thought my sturmtiger was reloaded so i drove it into close range in attempt to 1 shot 2 jacksons. then it started reloading.... so i had to shoot the sturmtiger down with my jagdtiger (it was few patches back) bcs i couldn't recrew it bcs my infantry was wiped in trying go safe it

Me too, but at least there's a solution (which I haven't yet practiced!)
That one setting that allows you to deselect all when you click ground.
The tab button goes through the squads selected.

I was playing Wehrmacht and meant to build a Healing bunker by my base but accidentally made it a HMG bunker ;.;

Almost every time when I play usf if accidentally de crew tanks instead of retreating the infantry next to it if I manage to garden up with my hotkeys OpieOP
