Stun Grenades cancelling retreat

Has this always been the case? Does everyone think it's ok or bug? Seems really cheap to me.

T34/76 is NOT a joke on my hands; Maybe on your hands you make it suck shit? but on me, No. I can kill a stug with a little micro, go toe to toe with a Panzer 4. Is it a joke? LOL T34/85 is apparently a very good tank. But no one says it "one hit wipe" or elefant penetration; up to a point i think this little medium tank just have too much health and too much firepower with that fuel cost.

Yes it has been always the case, afaik it's even intended and was asked in a stream 100 years ago.

Even when I saw the move animation, I gave the move order to my squad and they got hit by the very edge of the radius and stunned, unable to retreat. It's a free squad wipe at that point.

i didn't realize until a recent game that you can't retreat out of them. i really think that relic should follow the precedent set in dow2 and let squads retreat out of stun.

I've always thought it was a bit over the top, sometimes it take like 3 times for you to hit retreat before they will actually retreat something about that feels buggy to me and yeah it leads to wipe central a lot. Its really weird like the red exclamation comes up like there trying to then goes off again and so on until it finally lets you retreat by like the 3rd time.

I didn't know I should be able to unblind myself from a flashbang if i wanted to retreat.

The dumbest part is that it is relatively cheap, yet stuns infantry, cancels retreat, and also deals fairly good damage. It shouldn't be doing all of that for its low cost.

The only real downside with it for me is that it shows your enemy that you went for elite troops.
