Soooo what do u guys have in mind after OCF? If you're all free afterwards (including the champions and the pros like Barton) then perhaps you can all help me and Kothre get the wheels going for the Community Native Language Project. Otherwise if there is something else you all have in mind i am intrigued.

Overhaul of leaderboards with ladders/divisions, huge optimization patch, new commanders combined with old commander consolidation, re-doing the spoil of war system, and finally Afrika corps. I expect the announcement any day now

You lot do realise his question is directed at CoH 2.org staff?

As a response to the OP: I do indeed have something planned, depends on how skilled you are though when it comes to taking part.

More information soon. TM.

Sept 30th, 2015:

"Introducing Dusty's Dank ESL 4v4 LAN Vancouver 2015

An exciting and extremely balanced tournament full of surprises, with each team having 2 allied and 2 axis factions filling their slots. Watch as grenadiers pick up Vickers Ks, and Shermans are given to the OKW player with the Command Panther. Full mirroring, no bullshit.

All players will be flown and hosted at a variety of extremely expensive downtown Vancouver hotels, with the matches being played live ON STAGE in front of a gigantic audience at the Vancouver convention centre.

DJ Breaking Brad will be playing a set for the Finals afterparty, admission included with 3 day ESL LAN pass.

Prize pool of $20k to be distributed between top 4 teams.

Additionally, a 1v1 and 2v2 tournament will be taking place on premises, with cash prize of $200, because they are not as exciting or balanced or strategic, as the community has so kindly told us.

Special guest Dbmb will be present to give a speech in the opening ceremonies on why it is bad to make multiple accounts and pretend to not be the same map hacking piece of shit Razh from 2014, as part of a promotional event for his new remedial book (as part of reparations for the illicit fame and victory gained in Star Crossed Kings) "Panzers, Guards, and Maphacks: How I became the saltiest piece of shit scumbag in the community."

Tickets will be on sale through the in game store, starting at $200 USD, of which %50 goes towards increasing the prize pool."

Hopefully more tournaments. Would be awesome to keep the competitive scene going with another event, even if it has a smaller prize pool (or no prize pool). The more competitive events that people partake in, the more likely the competitive scene is to grow.

More competitive events = more activity from top players on the ladder = more reason for top players to ladder = more replays/streams/etc = more exposure blah blah

For anyone interested:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jX9hbbA-WP4

^ This documentary is amazing and really displays the amount of work/dedication a community has to put in in order for their game to become an eSport.

The DoTA 2 documentary also does a good job of showing this:
http://www.freetoplaythemovie.com/

Both are definitely worth the watch and show how a developer can't just throw money at a game... it has to start in the community.

When I said skill level, I wasn't implying top tier, so perhaps it might just work for you.
