M5 there 100% useless now when you cannot skip T3.
Callin infantry is needed in this coomander. Getting m5 as a bonus to guards (weaker version) is wasted money all the time.

It's fine. This is one of the stronger soviet doctrines, it does not need to be changed. It's not any different than the ostheer doctrines that come with the halftrack full of infantry, but this halftrack is much more useful.

This. I don't know what is the problem of having a good unit like M5.

M5 is good not for anyone and not at 5 cp mark. I like this commander it gives you 20-30 fuel at 4 cp when you need it to get t70 and at nades.

and what absurd question "what is problem of having m5". Cuz i have m5 in t3.

well, the M5 isn't "bad" but it lost a LOT of the appeal it had now that you have to go t3, particularly since the guards it provides aren't anymore cost efficient then most units.

Because it tactically gives the Guards you call in transport so that you can quickly use it to get them where they are needed to respond to a threat/cap/harass/conduct a drive-by shooting/etc. Really nasty if you want to quickly take out an isolated MG42 or what not. Its also very fairly priced for what you get compared to just building it from T3 WITHOUT having to pay for teching costs or build time. Not to mention if you really need fuel you can just use the fuel drop in the same doctrine. Try considering different ways to use the call-in/doctrine instead of just grimacing at the fuel cost.

The Half-Track isn't the problem, the Guards are.
