Are you suggesting this thread is bait? I didn't mean it as that. I was just curious what people would think of this change. We've had some pretty huge stock changes, like making P4s a stock unit for OKW. OKW never had generalist medium tank before and adding one didn't break them, so I thought, "well, maybe Soviets having a strong medium at the end of their tech progression wouldn't break them either, and would make their army more fun to play and thematically appropriate, as well as break the hold that guard motor continues even now to have on the meta." The consensus I get from this thread, however, is that such a switch would create balance problems. Ah well.
