This makes problem in terms of understandindg. Most of them talk from 2v2 perspective which is totaly irrelevannt to 1v1 game. And this just spoils everithing.
IMO 2v2 mode is the dumbest mode in this game. For example they complain that M5 stop blobs while in 1v1 there is a lot less blobs so M5 has a different role there.
That why its right to keep M5 as is. Cuz abusing OH T1 opening you can often deny both fuel points for at least some time. And this makes it imposible to get a T70, while you can get M5 cuz its 40 fuel cheaper.
Separate forum\section for 1v1 players?

in 1v1 m5 is bigger threat because less at guns
people whine not about that m5 can stop blobs, stopping blobs effectively is its main role, but it shouldnt be able to kill any other light vehicle in a blink of an eye or chase infantry to death, baserape or drive around at guns, decrewing them.
dealing with enemy vehicles and chasing down infantry is main purpose of su76 and t70.

I bought vCoH on January 3rd, 2007.
Still missing the days of vCoH 1.71. It had it's issues, like paks sniping 57s, and the strafe didn't work, but overall, it was probably the most balanced time in CoH history.
OF ruined that. CoH 2 is....balanced in a nasty way. Everyone has an equal stockpile of gamebreaking bullshit. USA is full of early game BS while the OKW doesn't get its BS until late game. It's just a question of how badly you exploit the faction's shit and how quickly, after a patch, you discover the gaping holes of bullshit Relic leaves. But either way, it's all BS. The only "BS" in vCoH that was gamechanging was the fast m8 vs a bunker.

I'm already a 1v1 player. 1v1 has its own taste (ur choices = ur win/lose, hardcore intense) and I like it the most. 2v2 has its own taste (teamplay, more combat = more deaths/explosions).
People might like both tastes, there is no problem... I find both 1v1 and 2v2 as competitive.
