Absolutely! This ability is pure cancer at its finest. No counterplay, low cost, and no risk.
Both versions should burn in COH hell.

Maybe it could be tied to a sector, if the tank leaves the sector it was marked for target, the effect goes away from the tank.

Mark target is IMO only such a big deal because it's in Guard Motor that has only viable options.
Especially Guards and T34/85 synergize perfectly with Mark Target as the T34 can take out ANY Axis tank with mark target without a high risk when microed well.
Maybe take down the bonus damage to 25% instead of 33%.
But the most important part is to cancel the ability in case the plane is shot down because this is atm not the case.
And @OP: I would like you to write your reason instead of just populising like you do.

Or make mark target passive. Mark target would be only accutary increase against all vehicles.

This^ Just make it so it takes RNG out of the equation rather than making it even more RNG based.

How is the problem solved?
By leaving the Soviets with tanks with shit penetration and increasing it only within several doctrines and for munitions? This is the worst thing you can do with this ability.
I myself bought 14 OKW factions during a Steam sale last year for alt accounts

Or having T-34-85s running around raping every and all vehicle doing insane damage.
My proposal would help stock Sov armor a little bit...oh wait Su-76 can pen a KTs front armor

I don't deny the ability needs to be overhauled, but if you keep whining about T-34/85s creating more chaos using Mark Target than Ares himself, there might be something wrong with the doctrine, don't you think? I rarely see havoc when someone uses Partisan Mark Target.

Maybe because T-34-76 has shitty pen and it doesn't matter if it gets the damage bonus from marked target when it can't pen a P4.

Making Mark Target increase pen would mean more consistent results. Less killing Tigers in 5 seconds with RNG but more consistent damage against heavily armored things like JT, KT's, and Panthers.

Entire doctrine =/= 1 ability.

Id like it made so when the aircraft is shot dowm... the effect stops... currently it doesnt.

No free recon + needs to be used around CPV (although you don't need LoS
)On it's own it's mostly there to give the reaaaally long reload of the Command Panther some extra punch, but it gets really nasty when paired with JT's or other TD's.
