allies scale better with skill. If you suck, axis is OP. If you have above average micro you could exploit axis shortcomings in the early game and have your early game advantage carry over to mid game and keep axis on the backfoot through map control. Allies have more common chances to wipe axis infantry, and consequently on average survive one shot wipe abilities/units more often.

These patch changes are trying to remove some of the disparity.

Allies can seem less forgiving, but at the same time they possess a lot of advantages axis dont have.

One accurate statement.

Meanwhile, in any combat, the one who has the bigger chances is the one who has and keeps initiative, allied being specifically designed in this direction, while the one who loses initiative is the most exposed, no matter how good his defence is. This is a basic rule of war, since the dawn of human kind.

i disagree

not one faction is designed to have initiative. it is just that allies usually gain initiative by being aggressive and axis, vice versa.

what is initiative anyway? assuming it means having control, in my opinion, just because your faction is designed to lead attacks, that does not mean the faction is designed around having initiative. you can have just much control on the battlefield by being defensive as germans.
