It actually appears above the truck, if you wait for a few seconds.

Really? So if my main cutoff point is neutral but has an Opel Blitz parked in it, the other territories will still provide ressources?

Yes, it's very good when paired with OKW for obvious reasons. It also it's funny when it makes shit maps like Moscow Outskirts actually playable.

Thanks for the enlightment, guys. This can be a good reason to play the Opel Blitz/Tiger Doctrine.
If you manage to hide your Opel very well you can prevent those dirty cutoffs.
It reminds me of the good old times where I put my Vampir right beneath the enemy's base in Semois

Me and my team used vampire alot in 3v3s in vCOH. That was the best cheat detection weapon because:

Verry few opponents realised what happened to their resources and begun to search the vampire. When they realised, if instead searching they were going directly to that map corner/limit where you hidden the camo vampire (without having met the vampire in its trail or without seeing it somehow before it was camouflaged), it was quite clear what was going on.
But in fair games a well manned vampire was invaluable.

I mean for example placing it near the off map entrance in Langreskaya north. Hidden behind bushes and secured by the base defences it is a good way to prevent yourself from being cut off.

Interesting... never tried that before. Should use this doctrine more often!

Would love to see a guide on coh2.org! How to use this commander properly!

There are "forgotten" doctrines at vanilla factions that are still powerfull but used alot less often as others, Assault support being one of them: Insta pin loiter stuka, opel blitz, Tiger, artilery officer.

yep indeed assault support was neglected since opel nerfed and tiger no longer as valuable.

yet i still don't have answer to my quastion :(
how much resources per minute opel gives exactly?
i read at some places that the truck does not correctly display the amount of given resources in the UI

The Opel doubles the resources of the sector its deployed in. so a normal +5ammo +3fuell will turn into +10 +6. If you place it at a fuel point +7, it will be +14 etc

I do not think this still applies. In the patch notes of 30 July 2013, it states:

Opel Blitz Cargo Truck

Previously, the cargo truck was multiplying a sectors value by a factor of 2. This resulted in extreme edge cases where fuel and munition incomes were higher than expected. To resolve this, supply trucks will only add a set amount of resources to sectors.

• A cargo truck setup within a sector now adds 3 fuel and 5 munitions per minute, rather than multiplying the sectors value by 2
• Cargo truck cost from 200 to 300 manpower

The Opel was then tampered with again on 27 June 2014:

Opel Blitz Truck
Cost reduced from 300 to 200
Resource bonuses are now exclusive to the player
