i cast via twitch using the built in COH2 function.
i have checked and re-checked. my game sounds and mic are at max value.

at the same time, i also VOD via OBS. there are no sound issues with this.

so in twitch i have no sound, in OBS i have sound.

any ideas.

everything was working fine a week ago. i have made not changes to anything, that i am aware of.

P.S.
i have the exact same problem on both of my computer that i cast COH2 from.

Everybody that streams uses OBS or Xsplit to stream because of the limited functionality of the in-game twitch interface. I dunno if Relic is even supporting it anymore as it hasn't gotten any updates since launch. Sound/mic options were always missing. Relic has also removed their in-game twitch streamers list.

I would not even bother with the in-game thing if you already have OBS set up. Functionality is very restricted and if you bother even somewhat with quality there is no way around using something else.

i gave up on the coh2 built in function for twitch (it stinks & is very limited).

i am back to using OBS for twitch and youtube.

i forget why i started using coh2 twitch over obs for twitch.

everything is working wonderfully again.

I use OBS to stream coh2. Imo there's nothing better out there. I must say it can be a struggle to get things set up but there are enough tutorials out there to help.

For chat i use a program called chatty, it's open on my second monitor because i don't like to watch via twitch in web browser.

I never rlly used ingame coh2 twitch, sad to hear that it doesn't function properly

In-game streaming support is actually being phased out and discouraged by Twitch itself: http://discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/twitch-pc-sdk-no-longer-supported/1267

Personally after trying out the advantages of Quicksync / NVENC I'd never prefer anything over OBS (let alone for the featureset)

i LOVE obs, especially when i got everything setup and working properly.

the REASON why i started using the COH2 twitch function, was i wanted a higher bit rate for my youtube casts. twitch does not like 3500+, and i wanted to go 7000+.

i will just deal with it. glad to be back with obs exclusively..

You can go over 3500, even though OBS gives you a warning. Just ignore the message in OBS and swing for the bleachers. I have it set to 5000 or something when I stream and have never had a problem.
