Hey guys,
i have a beginner question and was wondering if u could help me out :)
i always choose my commander at the start of a game, the first 3 perks help me a little but i lose before i could use the rest.
for some other commanders the first few perks are crap but the late game ones are pretty nice.
so should i pick the commander at the beginning of a game or save my choice until mid game and not benefit from the first perks?

In another section this would get more traffic I think.


However:

A lot here depends upon what game mode, what faction and what commanders you have and what level of opponents you are facing


eg:

Ostheer


Mech Assault and Ostruppen you generally chose straight away because AGrens and Ostrups are early game units; and as such your opponents will react to your choice


Conversely things like Elephant doctrines tend to be worth taking later to react to your opponents choice


And at lower levels opponents won't necessarily be able to recognise your doctrine or respond appropriately anyway
