You know what I mean, generally whenever axis is a choice, the majority will play them. Hell I've gotten to a higher rank as soviets than I think I'll ever get with ostheer or okw. Easier to win but no I don't have more fun with them. Thats just my opinion though.

The high losses of the t-34 can be explained due to many reasons. And while it's individual performance might be one of them, it is definately not a major reason.

While I admit the t-34/76 doesn't need a buff dmg/rof wise....it does need slightly better vet bonuses, as to have a better chance vs a vet 2-3 P4/2-5 Panther and vet 2-3 Tiger towards the late game.

Finaly. Finaly someone with THE SOLUTION. Now that, that I would agree with. T34 needs to scale better in veterancy maybe not so much as you described, but this is definetely the only reasonable way to buff it.
