I'd just like the Vickers as an HMG team.

Proper British voiceacting.

That OKW audio is a fucking disgrace. Every piece of information you get sounds like it's coming from Arnie while he's half-way through curling off a fat one.

Ugh.

Hugh Grant should do them all.

What was notable about the late-war, post-Normandy British army?

1. Airborne forces (Market Garden and Varsity)

2. Armour & manoeuvre

3. Armour & recce

So I'd make the elite infantry airborne, have halftracks and armour, core infantry distinctly average and some distinctive team weapons (very light, fast firing mortars in 2-man teams, for example). The SAS jeep idea is awesome.

And, yes, Comet tank as a call-in with Cromwells too. Love the up-gunned Churchill but not widely used.

Achilles TD - An m10 with a 17 pdr gun. (In COH1 their Fireflies had Sherman models but were much more of a glass cannon. They should have used the Achilles since that is what they had modeled in-game.)

Tetrarch Tank or the M22 Locust for glider-borne armor.

- A cost-effective tech system (unlike Ostheer), which is not not truck-based.... please!
- A vet system that is thought through
- No heavy focus on emplacements
- Commandos / SAS
- Australian /Canadian /New Zealand Infantry
- Stylish tanks (Cromwells/ Fireflies)
- No lamerino Stags or Roos

Tanks that actually fought in the war. No crazy stuff. No post war stuff.

Which means no "Black Prince". This vehicle makes as much sense as the Maus.

Primarily Fireflies, Cromwells and Churchills.

People here seem to dislike the Churchill tank. I guess that´s partly because it was so weak in Coh1. Well, the developers got it totally wrong back then. The Churchill Mark VII actually had up to 152mm of armor. That´s a lot... get that unit in. As an end game tank... focusing on getting rid of infantry but the armor to withstand lots of hits.

There are so many possibilities with Churchill variants.

Churchill is pretty much a heavier armored KV-1, something that can take hits. Also need my Achilles, M10 with 17 pounder, my god!

Bulletproof Commandos that have a free Romulan cloaking device on a 60s cooldown and that you can spawn basically anywhere you choose.

Oh, and FOO. We all love FOO.

British infantry that is twice as good as any axis infantry but moves slow when outside your own territory, we need that back into the game!

- Tommy Atkins, comparable to Volksgrenadiers or Grenadiers
- Canadian Infantry, slightly superior alternative infantry (doctrine)
- Universal Carriers, cheap transports
- Vickers Machine Guns
- QF 6-Pounder Anti-Tank Guns
- Humber Armoured Cars, standard armoured car
- AEC Heavy Armoured Cars, similar to the Puma (doctrine)
- C15TA Armoured Truck (transport / reinforcement)
- M10 Achilles, M10 chassis with Panther style gun
- Cromwell Tanks, good decent all-rounder
- Lend-Lease Sherman Tanks (doctrine)
- Sexton SPG (doctrine, likely with the Canadians)
- Firefly Tanks, functionally a Sherman with a Panther's gun
- Comet Tank, superior alternative to Firefly (doctrine)
