lol somebody never played 3v3 with triple Imperial Guard. Nothing could ever touch the Baneblade in late game power.

That might deviate from established gameplay too much.
Besides Relic mentioned they don't want snow balling with territories again - for a good reason IMO.

I'd still say perceived balance issues (via maps and match making) are the most common problem, at least for the majority of players. Top level cheese balancing can probably never be achieved anyways.

People play 4v4s for action and big battles though. I think those game modes would lose a lot of appeal if everyone had reduced incomes.

"Make 4v4 more like 1v1" kind of ignores the reasons people play 4v4 in the first place

Changing the fundamentals of COH2 will push away already small multiplayer community, I dont think tying pop cap with sectors will be a good idea in the first place. I generally believe resource management is the answer to 4 v 4 game play.

i personally play team games so that i have other people on my team, not so that the battles are bigger. i really don't have a huge preference between 2v2/3v3/4v4, i just like to play with other people

I want it back tbh. Keeping players off their fuel for even modest periods of time felt like it mattered. Even in 2v2s you're likely to see the strat points decked out in fuel caches and cutting off their fuel for a bit doesn't hurt nearly as bad.
