Tank Hunter upgrade is 50 munitions for 2 rifles. One guard squad at long range without DP straight up beats an LMG grenadier, when both have green cover. I haven't tried conscript w/ AT rifles vs grenadiers, but I suspect that the more cover there is, the better the AT rifles are (i.e. LMGs are better against targets in red, no cover, AT rifles better against units in heavy cover).

Thinking about 2 things

1. not to use snipers cuz 5 model squad is too much for them
2. 2 CE > 2-3 penals > 2 M3 and 2 Guards inside M3 into kats and SU 85

True, Gurad without DP behind green cover will win agasint LMG Grens but I think it's more problem of a squishy Grens. But let's also keep in mind that Guards are elite long range infantry. Ost is lackinf of elite infantry.

I tired Cons vs Grens.

Grens will win at long range. Mid is equal. Close range is for Cons.

I think it is pretty stupid they decided to buff the AI power of PTRS, isn't the DP for that? Yes the PTRS Sucked but they couldve made it shoot faster or reload faster or better penetration so it was better against vehicles.
Bazookas sniping infantry was dumb, now we get ptrs's in return?

Well, we still don't have "PTRS OP" thread from frontline fanboys so I guess it's not that bad... But let's wait few days :D

In terms of reality (which of course should be somehow in the background in the game) AT rifles were useful agasint infatry. High velocity, accuracy...

One of my guard squads dropped a PTRS in a match I just played. I could not retrieve it and was actually upset by it for a change. Normally I would laugh my ass off to see an Ostheer waste 1/4 of his Gren DPS by picking up a PTRS.
