Greetings,rush! :welcome:

Check out the guides: http://www.coh2.org/guides/categories
Some of them are a little outdated, but they will all give you a good idea of where to start.

One of our old strategists made these videos for new players:
http://www.coh2.org/guides/17049/z3r07-s-learn-2-play-video-playlist

Watching Twitch.tv livestreams is a good way to get some tips. Many are both very good at explaining why they do what they do, and explain as they are playing. Most of the popular streamers like to interact with their viewers and will answer any questions you have for them.

Probably avoid avoiding the balance forum initially. Strategy forums can have lots of good information, however

Finally, save replays of some of games which you lose, which you can upload here via the replay section. If you want to ask for help, you should provide a replay :)

actually i read all the guides ,and as i said i'm not a complete noob (my win ratio is > 50% for all factions).
I also watch tons of live games (wayy more than i play) and i understand strategies and have a very good understanding of the game mechanics .
i watch HelpingHans and BartonPl on twitch as well, and re watch my replays a couple of times quiet often
balance forums=okw is op :p, that about sums it up .
anw i guess what i need is some sort of mentor who can work with me 1 on 1.
i know it's too much to ask but any help is appreciated .
thanks a lot.

I regret that the site do not currently run a formal mentoring system because, as you observe,

  • the casters whom you list and many others, including in no particular order, Luvnest, Stephann, Romeo,Siberian, lenny and Stormless will answer questions, review vids and sometimes include players in games
  • there are youtube casters
  • clans like the Bears run their own training systems

But maybe, someone will read your post here and contact you. ;)
