You guys seem to talk about slight fps frop, for me its just unplayable without evrything low ... and on winter maps as soon as the blizzard comes in it becomes really gamebreaking ...
Same for me. It's pretty drastic too, something like 30-40 down to maybe 10-15.

Today I'm going to try and double-check my drivers, but I think everything is up-to-date. I already submitted dxdiag and system settings to that relic-guy.

Im pretty sure it will be fixed, no way they will leave it like this, because beta was alot better in performance wise.

I had similar issues and sent a dxdiag and various reports and screenshots to Ian someone at relic in the hope it may help :/ you never know ;)

I feel that the consequence of a lack of target tables is starting to show: In the first Beta, atgs were too strong vs light armor, but adequet vs heavy armor and in the current beta, atgs are adequet vs light armor, but too weak vs anything heavier.

There is always a point building a pak, as paks can really hold the armor back and make the enemy think how to attack. With only pgrens, u can just try to drive them over.

Sure, pzgrens are a lot more expensive and have shorter range meaning they have to get close to their target.
This leaves them exposed to various anti-infantry weapons and snipers.

So yes, a PAK is worth it and if you have a shrek squad close you also ensure that the enemy vehicles can't overrun your PAK and kill the crew with ease (since they'll be chewed up by the shreks)

I felt this too, my AT guns seem to bounce off tanks a lot, leading to some veeeeery long duels with tanks. Front armor duels with tanks seem off to me, parking your tank in front of an AT gun should be BAD, it doesn't seem like that now if you have your facing correct.

This. Though I think this can be fixed by having 2 non-doctrinal AT guns. One for dealing with light vehicles and a much heavier one that can penetrate heavier armour. For example moving that pak43 to the T3 or T4 building for germans and giving the ruskies a heavier AT gun in their T3 or T4.

Somewhat strange 'bug', but it always says I'm lagging the game at the beginning, despite getting over 100fps. Also the loading times are VERY slow (I'm usually last to load), despite having it installed on a RAID-0 Array (CoH1 load times were literally 3 seconds).

So far so good, but we need more players. Yes, it's a "stress test", but the queue times are loooonnnggg for 1v1.

^Is it maybe the post processing that gets you? Back when DoW 2 retri was released, post processing made loading screens take literally 2-3 minutes in beta. If you turn that off (along with possibly soft particles) your issues should be fixed, if the betas act the same that is.

Tiger doctrine (last one to unlock for Ostheer) seems to have been removed. Replay menu is different, they added some tutorial videos. Haven't had a game yet.
