Hey,

Tricky is back.

I have a few photoshopped wallpapers for you all. Pictures taken from IGN, credit goes to them.

This was Spanky's idea so point fingers at him if you like them. :D

(I hope you do)

:)

If you wish to download the wall click on the link, then under "Media Options" hit "Download".

Have fun!

Yep it's something we are planning to do after the release of all the core features, it will be part of the "economy system" of the website :)

These are really nice. May I ask what sort of filter was used on the original screenshots?

Yeah, sure. It's called topaz filter. A pretty common filter used in the signature/design world. And thank you for the comments. :)

I'm not sure if I wanna be a staff artist.. what is involved? :D (Thank you for the gesture though)

(It's just that I've been a staff artist before and I know there's lots of responsibility involved, I just gotta feel motivated, something I'm now seeking an answer to)

It's a nice filter. I like how it makes certain things seem like they are from a graphic novel, but I really don't like what it does to rocks or certain other detailed parts (like the tank fenders in that last image). It makes them look like a bunch of spaghetti. Some more selective usage would be nice, but I don't know what you could do for the detailed parts to make it blend better w the style.

Thanks Purli. I'll make you a new sig soon, cause that one has worn out already. :D

I wanna make sigs for lots of people but there is only so much energy and inspiration one can have.

And yeah, the topaz filter can be worked with, as you can see some pictures look a bit different to the others. For example, if you compare the last picture to the one similar to it - different filters used there and the soldiers don't look as spaghetti.
