This just happend to me- i had him pinned (suppressed with red icon).. but he got a grenade off after being pinned for over 2 seconds? is this intended or is this a bug?

probably delayed action before the squad got suppressed.... was what i was going to say but the video makes me think twice... hmmm.

He uses "Granatenhagel" (i dont know the english word). And this is afaik the only grenade(s) you can throw even if the squad is supressed.

Infiltration grenades are throwable when pinned.

Just watch the replay. The ability never greys out when he starts kissing the floor.

No. The other day, a red suppressed rifle squad naded and insta-killed my MG42. The squad ran across a road (i.e. red cover), got into red suppression really fast, and then threw the nade.

I didn't save the replay, so I can't prove it to sceptics. But I know it happened

All grenades can be thrown while supressed.

In this case it seems that infiltration grenades can also be used while pinned. BIG difference.

so this must be the only ability that works while pinned? seems weird to me. bug or not atleast i now know to look out for this if my opponent has them.

suppressed means they move and fire slowly. pinned means they can't move or fire at all and cannot use most abilities. units get suppressed before they get pinned.
