How to deal with that? 6-7 cons charging with Oooorah, throwing molotovs at MGs, taking points everywhere.

The only one time I won agasint cons spam was when I spammed AssGrens but knew he is going to spam them. Otherwise AssGrens spam won't work, so?
How you deal with that?

Ostruppen might work - they'll allow you to match numbers fast, plus the bonus for being in cover will help and you won't have to concede as much territory.

If you spam grens, grens vs cons ( ofc with a minimum of micro ) is a rng troll.

3-4 grens, 2 Mg42s, after the little HT at 3 cp in the stug e doc.

Cons can't do anything to buildings, unless he is playing Tank Hunter Tactics. Try to lock key points/bottlenecks with bunkers.

1. dont get aggressive, just defend your fuel/ammo until T2
2. get G43 or LMG42 as fast as possible, try to rush for Pgrens
3. get a second Engineer and borh with flamers, put them next to a building were he might attack next, get spotters and when he you see him moving to the building get in faster, flamer has a decent range and the piod are less vurnerable when garrisoned that will let him bleed fast.
4. and mechanized assault is a boring Commander choice but ethical acceptable against a spam of 7 units the same.
5. never ever have han unsupported mg42, and if he hooras in supress with one burst and them replace befire the molotov goes off.
6. dont engage fights you cant win that will save MP for teching or more Pgrens, he has to have the MP bleed not you

just some tips but you have to get the tactical feeling and the micro for it, just like anything

It'll be easy to lose your head in the early game and panic...which is about the only advantage Cons spam can bring about. If you just hold onto 1/3 of the map and play passive until T3, you can probably Ostwind him to death.

You got a bunch of options but either way prepare for a huge as OST T1.
Some general advice first:
  • Do not split up your early game Grens by much and make sure you control key houses on the map.
  • Getting 1 or 2 HMG is pretty essential as its the only unit that will allow you to realiably combat multiple squads. Always provide forward vision support through a Gren.
  • Every single 60 ammo investment should be placed into a Gren LMG or G43, asides from the medic bunker and/or pioneer flamer. Resist the temptation to use rifle grenades at higher levels of play!
  • Determining whether your opponent is going T3 or stalling for call-in tanks is critically important. Buying your pak40 to early will cost you the game.

Build Orders
  • Gren - Gren - Gren - Gren - Mortar - MG42 - MG42 - Tech. Urban maps.
  • Gren - Gren - Gren - MG42 - MG42 - Gren - Mortar - Tech. Open maps.

Teching Option.
  • Going straight to T3 for an Ostwind with a T2 back-tech for pak40 I find is the best possible option (provided you do not want to use Mechanized Assault). This works best if your SOV opponent is going straight for call-in tanks. If your opponent suprises you with T3 consider grabbing a P4 instead of the Ostwind.

  • T2 OST can suceed as well but revolves on how well you use the 251 halftrack. The 251 HT is an incredibly useful unit against conspam as it allows you have a constant map presence and the longer engagements you will come out ahead. This is invaluable on urban maps where you won't be able to hang onto map control long enough to get OST T3 functional.

  • T2 OST can suceed using two 222 upgunned scout cars but is very micro and vision control demanding as if the SOV player ambushes you with Orahh + AT nades your ammo investment will go to waste which could of otherwise been spent on Grens LMG.

Hope that helps!

If you do use MGs, maybe consider supporting with wire and or S-mines.

Also might be a good tactic to build a muni cache, allowing faster LMGs and occasional use of rifle nade. But id go for T3 and not heavies supported more by T2.

G43s are probably the best thing to have on grens when fighting conscripts. Instead of just winning long range engagements, your grens will also win close range engagements with them, so from that point on you'll just win every 1 on 1 engagement, which is huge.

Scout car kiting work wonders on open ground, just don't get too close for the AT nade.

No scout car is waste of resources and requires too much attention.1 at nade and its all gone.Don't bother.Get a mortar instead and invest the muni in lmg42.
