No, I just don't expect Relic to base their business model around either pleasing me personally nor a fractious and self-important minority.


I tend to assume that if get beaten it's because the other team played better, and that if it Relic aren't doing what I want it's because they know what they are doing better than I do.


But apparently it's easier to blame RNG, Bad Design, X is OP and Relic are stupid for not listening to me for all of those things.

Just because you are not able to identify issues does not mean there are none. Likewise, just because you want to believe that the people at relic know what they are doing, does not actually mean that they know what they are doing. There is, in fact, plenty of actual evidence that proves the contrary. You can ignore it all you like, but that only makes you ignorant.

Your assumption that relic knows what they are doing is simply false. Unless of course, Relic intended that half the 1v1 map pool are unbalanced, that they intended only a handful of commanders to be useful, that they intended to make P2W commanders, that they intended to make infantry spam into call-in tanks the ideal way to play this game, that they intended to take months to fix game breaking bugs, that they intended to make OKW play the exact opposite of their design philosophy, and so on. If these were indeed their intentions, then yes, I agree, Relic totally knows what they are doing and you sir, are not ignorant.

Its just about the priority list Relic has I guess.
I was happy they announced a bugfix patch. Now they are working on a balance patch I heard? Looks like they have their prioritys set straight for this year.

People bitch because so many good ideas were said in the two forums and they do nothing with it. Like Luvnest his "State of the game report". They said they would look into it. Three things from the whole list are fixed? People get dissapointed by stuff like that...

People bitch because so many things Relic introduces, also introduces new bugs to the game. I heard the decal system has a bug already...

People bitch because most Relic streams are a joke. Haven't watched them much lately because I just didn't feel like watching... They could use that stream to get the community so much more active.

Same with the newsboard on the CoH2 main screen. Not hard to use it better than Relic does now...

What Im trying to say. I understand people are bitching But its never good to insult people... Relic did some nice stuff, but they have a long way to go imo.

you should have seen OKW v1.0 and the obs mode release candidate /shudder

yes okw is still a bit rough round the edges but it would have been far worse than what we have now thanks to community intervention.

obs mode is a great feature but release candidate they were contemplating was little more than a streamed replay file.

There is a reason for that and it's not around community but Relic.
Let me explain.

We want new maps.
Relic gives us new map but 3/4 of them are terrible unbalanced

We want new commanders.
Relic gives us OKW commander with call-in King Tiger so you don't need to tech. Insane, right?

We want balance patch.
Most complained units were buffed instead of nerfed.

That's the problem.

How long it took to fix Trois Points? (still broken).
How long it will take to fix Lende-Lease fuel drop?
How long... and so on.
No wonder why community is bitching.
