Not picking this one up after their botched releases and DLC policy. Will be waiting for the bundle + 75 percent discount years from now if it turns out to be any good.

Im not gonna pay $60 USD when the demo comes out I'd much rather wait 1 or 2 more years and get the full game for a cheaper price

6 month waiting + probably horribly unoptimized from the start + Attila-style DLC whoring with content cut from the base game.

I almost feel bad for my desire to buy it anyway.

AngryJoe Meets Sonic The Hedgehog!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71egubo2QoA
AngryJoe finally meets up with Sonic The Hedgehog as they discuss the success and failure of his legendary games!
*Recorded September 8th, 2015 while previewing Total War: Warhammer - too fun not to post!*

Sonic need professional therapy after decades of Gordon Gekko's financial rape and abuse of game IP.

Also, go watch popular variety steamers such as:
http://www.twitch.tv/excessiveprofanity/v/28223476
ExcessiveProfanity who played with COH lead balance designer Brad (and Kyle in chat). In the above stream go 3:38:50 to 3:49 where ExcessiveProfanity accuses SEGA Warhammer marketing team of being cancer in the gaming industry. Neither Kyle nor Brad tried anything to defend SEGA after ExcessiveProfanity criticized the SEGA/Warhammer marketing strategy. IMO, there are a fair amount of devs both in CA and Relic that know SEGA marketing for games such as Rome 2/COH2 (which both was released prematurely) and Warhammer has been rubbish.

Anyone with half a brain knows the game title should have been "Total Warhammer" not Total War: Warhammer. Imagine if Relic has called DoW for COH: Warhammer.

Exclusive Total War: WARHAMMER Vampire Counts Stream live from San Francisco
https://secure.twitch.tv/totalwarofficial/v/54686955?t=01h22m27s

At 1:22:27 go watch TW community streamer PrinceofMacedon play Warhammer with CA Community Coordinator- Joey Dalton.
https://www.youtube.com/user/PrinceofMacedon

I'm crossing fingers, please CA/SEGA don't screw up this launch like TW: Rome 2.

I played this game at the PC weekender and I have to say that graphically it was intense!

Total War isn't really my kind of game but it definitely felt like something I would consider

Reminds me a lot of the "lord of the rings" total conversation for Rome Total War / Medieval II Total War.

and Orcs are fun :)

Used to love the total war series played all of them up to Rome II. Could smell that game was shit from miles away. Still havent seen ANY innovation really since boats were introduced in Empire, which was epic. In fact they have only regressed, by removing hot seat option which was in Medieval II and was in fact the best and only proper multiplayer incarnation of TW series.

Wake me up when they improve battle and campaign AI (and by improve I mean massively hugely improve, not the marketing BS improvements they try to sell you on), have a functioning multiplayer (more than 2 players..) and stop trying to sell you half the fucking game (really? I buy RomeII and cant play greek factions?! WTF)

Might want to take a look at Total War: Attila. It's kind of similar to Rome 2 but it's also much more polished and has a better feel overall. It's a good game.

My last and still my favorite was Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai. That was innovation right there, combining open field gun warfare to the traditionalist age of the sword was an impressive for me at the time.

Rome 2, well it sort of made me say I am okay with it, but the governing system is better than Shogun 2.

I would get Total War: Warhammer since I have a hard on for both the Fantasy and the 40K universe. However, I know my computer would die trying to play the game.
