Tiger or Panther?

Is ur choice influenced by opponents?
When choosing panther would u always take a smoke doctrine?
I find myself using panther with festung armor against opponents heavy in soviet. And tiger vs american heavy team.

Ok, but really, Tiger, always. I'm going for Panther only if I'm using luftwaffe or close air support but most of the time Tiger.
Slower, lower range but it's good vs everything on the other hand Panther has problems vs infantry.

PIVs and Elefant.
That's a solid setup indeed, PIV's AI rock, and Elefant's AT are pretty damn good if their flanks are covered.

re: choosing a doctrine for the Panthers - smoke doctrines are great supplement for them, although I don't base my selection on that alone. Very often one of my three commanders is a Tiger one (the Mechanized Assault ATM) but I ignore the Tiger and go for the Panther anyway.

Jacksons own PIV's
Any and all call-ins own PIVs, be it Lend-Lease Shermans, E8s, 34/85s, not to mention the IS-2, anything really outfights a PIV handily.
Still, the Ele/PIV combo is a good pick against US, as long as the map is open.

If u have tiger commander select tiger if u have pak 43 or other commander go panther, tiger is a little more expensive but is much better (in me opinion)
Well, if you take fuel / manpower cost for teching into consideration, the Panther is much more expensive than a Tiger.
In terms of AT the Panther is simply better than the Tiger. A Tiger, like every heavy call-in (apart from Elefant/Jagdtiger), is an allround tank with slightly less armor and speed.
On topic: In 4v4s, where you can easily afford to tech up to get a Panther, I would always go for it.
A Tiger is a bit too weak against IS-2s/Jacksons IMO.

and Panther great to deal tank and medicore for infantry
Speed panther is best for Axis Tank (expect Lucas)
armor sightly lower than tiger But if Panther gain vet 2 armor buff but tiger not has it
cost Tiger not suffer form Tech up like panther some OST player can play heavy tier 2 and wait it
Ps. 4v4 Okw most use panther for deal allies tank

Tiger armor: 300
Panther armor: 320
Penetration near/mid/far
Panther: 260.0/240.0/220.0
Tiger: 220.0/200.0/180.0
Range:
Tiger: 40
Panther: 50
Now, tell me which one is better vs tanks, huh?

Firstly, Panther has 320 but when reach vet 2.
Secondly, it's about dealing with tanks but what about ZiS? How your Panther with deal with them?
Tiger has 1040hp, Panther 800.
What about rear armor? Tiger has a chance to bounce Sherman or T34 shells.
Tiger is all-in-one. It can deal with t34, IS2, Shermans, infatry, at gun.
Panther can deal only with vehicles so you have to spend more pop cap for infantry.
3 Tigers can roll out whole army.
3 Panthers can do nothing against at guns.
And Tiger reloads faster.

Once a Panther reaches vet 2 it has even more armor + 160HP (960 in total; not much less than a Tiger)
As I've already said, Panthers are more AT and Tigers are more allround tanks. I don't know why you are arguing with me now.
Why would I engage AT guns with tanks? I have my infantry for that.
Yes, 3 Tigers can wreck an entire army, but so can IS-2s, and those IS-2s will make your Tigers cry for their moms.
