Hello site staff, i suggest marketing the mumble server a bit more on this website. It seems that people do not know much about the mumble. THe only people i see on there is TAB clan and occasionally a couple streamers. It would be nice if there was more activity on there. Thanks

It means it sounds like you've given up before you've even tried.

I have suggested the same thing in the past but it got buried under the the many topics. I don't have coding skills and i don't have mod abilities. This is why i am suggesting this idea to the site staff. It is an idea for brainstorming, so it would be nice if you could join in it as well instead of just poking fun

I am not poking fun at you. I am suggesting that if you want the community mumble to get more traffic, you take steps to promote it yourself. For example, you could write an article for the news portal about it. Or even just advertise it in the shoutbox occasionally when you're hanging out in there.

it seems like i don't have the right privileges to post stuff on the news section.

I suggested putting a picture of who is on mumble at the right side of this website. there should be an easy-join button as well so people can hop on very quickly.

I am just one man. It would be nice to get some support from the staff as well

Maybe write a fancy text with pictures, and send it to someone who has the permission to post in the news?

Another start would be to actually mention the Mumble in this topic. Or maybe start a poll for it's future, post in the shoutbox, give some good reasons WHY anyone actually should join.

The hell guys, give Ninja a break he's only trying to do right here.
Don't be a dick and pick on him, and yes you are not being nice.
He's only suggesting it.

I think it's a very good idea to have it on the website itself.
Also, an article on the frontpage wouldn't be a bad idea, i'll take this to the Writer section in the Staff Room.

And Kamk - Why would you join mumble?

Because if you want to play 2v2's or more, it's better to be able to communicate and know your teammates than just playing random.
Also, for finding mates it's a perfect way.

Cheers.

I use it once in a blue moon, but it is a great resource. Who are the admins currently?

I can help you out with it. Though I need you to tell me how it's like in there. Haven't used it once yet. :P

making a mumble tracker (allowing to see whos in mumble from coh2.org) i think would be really really cool.

It's possible with Mumble as well.
TS3 has his benefits though.

I suggested in the past that there should be a mumble list or perhaps a link with the details on the front page of CoH2.org. Though resources wouldn't permit.
