3. Enjoy a balanced and fair (albeit cheesy) game
No really, I just started playing as Soviets and I can suddenly win team games. We had a KT ravaging out base in a seemingly lost game and I popped an IS2 behind it (we still had 50/50 map control but we were losing all over) and some other Soviet shit and we brought it back. I just played a game of Ettlebruck Station and the Soviet support weapons went toe to toe with the Axis ones for a bloody meatgrinder. I shudder at the thought of my riflesquads just melting in CQB against the Axis hordes but stout shock troops and cheap maxims saved the day.
How about that ZiS 3? 57mm is useless against infantry and meh against tanks but in CQB, it's just as good against tanks and fucks infantry up! I didn't even build any tanks but my teammates did and their tanks strangely didn't melt. How about those penals with the flamer? Rifle flamer blows up all the time. Penals kick ass.
Just play Soviets

Soviet play is boring for the person playing it, and cheesy to the person who's fighting against it. Allied players must cram limited options down Axis throats, and Axis must leverage strategic options to deal with said cramming.
Overall, balance in 3v3/4v4 is better than most people want to believe.

People are talking that if Relic adds Pershing, everyone will be playing with that commander. But what are we seeing now? Airbore in 90% games. Addind Pershing would make 2 commanders useful, not just one like it's right now.

On more srs note 1 ami player in 3v3/4v4 is mandatory for many reasons. But if you got two... hoho, life ain't gonna be easy.

be flexible, learn the timings of important units so you know when to prepare for them, know how to control your units in the first engagement to maximum efficiency, know how to quickly destroy the schwerer hq so the okw player cant bring a fast luchs and produce obers to carry him. i could go on and on and on about this, it would be too long for just this post.

In 4v4, a single USF might be better than a 4th Sov for the variety but 3v3, you want 3 Sov. USF is worthless in team games because in team games, axis players can cover each others mistakes very effectively. Much more effectively than the USF can punish them. Conversely, USF mistakes are much easier to punish in team games.
Anyways, the statistics say in 4v4, Axis wins about 60% of the time. So no no, 4v4 is not better balanced than people want to believe (I might add that I would think if the USF was removed or kept to only 1 spot on a team game, 4v4 might be balanced. 3 or 4 USF neuter the allied team).

Yeah itis funny how people who say 4v4 and 3v3 are balanced are the ones pwning super hard. Im guessing they are the extreme minority
