Can somebody confirm if vehicles gain veterancy for killing a plane?

My P4 does when it shoots down a plane via the MG42.

for USF it's the AA HT vet 1 AA ability that shoots down planes 100% of the time.

For OKW its the 251/17 flak halftrack that shoots down aircraft 100% of the time

For ostheer it's either the 222 or the ostwind, both of which are not particuraly effective but they do shot down planes fairly frequently.

For soviets, it's being shoehorned into T3 , which means no good tanks, no good artillery, and generally a very terrible tier.

I dont know how to make the M15's vet ability shoot at planes... It just points at the sky and does nothing when planes fly by. It actually does aim at planes in the normal mode, though.

Negative. If the AA half track is where the call in was dispatched it will die on the first pass.

Yes

I was in a US v Soviet Mirror match and built M5s because I knew what was going to happen

They vetted up quite nicely

Resident Soviet Whiner and Grand Master Bias Jedi; General Secretary of the Soviet Whine Hydra Collective; Axis Hating Sheeple; Allied Butt Buddy! Collect Them All!
Also the African Branch of TAB Bulletins

Dont mind to nerf good Stuka now. but I wanna see P47 absolutly usless too. So wehrmacht could build tanks.

After spending the day using both, they are both about the same in killing power. The extremely long recon sweeps the P-47s do are completly overkill though, especially against Ostheer which doesn't have much to counter them with.

They have the same killing power vs vehicles. But JU87s also wrecks AT guns (destroys the gun) and can even maim infantry if they happen to be a little clumped up.

Yeah that surprised me. The first time I faced the new and improved Stuka strafe I saved all my armor by quickly retreating them. Then not being worried about my infantry and support weapons only to watch them get mauled....

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.
