Guys /admins mostly/,

Ok I'm really new to the forum but pls be sure not to forums as a community tool.

The problem I can see is a massive threads closing by admins, for various reasons from "unpolite" sentences to just no reason.

I know my threads are mostly problematic but when I saw you close #Romeo pure technical thread I was shocked ...

So Guys if you do not want to kill community - think it over.

There will be only admins who can post or create new topics here shortly:)

.. and now you can close this as well ...

Ummm you know the thread from Romeo was replaced with an extended post to continue the thread? It wasn't closed for any lower reasons!

Threads are only locked when they are:

- Clearly troll threads or shitposting;

- Balance threads with mostly rage/whining/angry shouting without actual attempt at neutrality, attempt being the key word here;

- Not intended to provide thoughtful discussion;

- Negative attacks to other members of the community;

- Outright disrespectful to developers;

- Duplicates with active threads posted within a day or two;

- Thread has derailed into pointless arguments which no further meaningless discussion was made;

- Bad, broken English or other incomprehensible gibberish;

- Spam or off-topic pertaining to subforum;

- Moderator's discretion.

We're pretty liberal here. If you make quality posts, it won't be an issue. We're fine with you guys saying Relic sucks, but saying PQ should be fired because he isn't doing his job is not.

Not really! We do not supress reasonable criticism! But the problem is, that most of the thread suddenly turns out as a giant sinkhole of shit. That's the point where we have to close.

You can say whatever you want about anyone as long as you're polite. I don't think that's asking too much.

Your are wrong Romeo, sorry...

Today I asked, VERY polite, a question regarding someone from Relic stuff. It was closed in 1 min.

But let's stop this useless discussion.

Life is live...

It's not that mods are some kind of gestapo or something here, they just hate you personally Kappa

And on a serious note: if you're new try to watch the forum before you start creating 3 threads a day, just to know the things that are worth the whole thread and those that belong to shoutbox or even should stay in your mind and not get wider audience.
