Absolutely won game, then synch error and got loose ...
Doesn't Relic know the state of the battle or what ???

I don't think creating a sync error is too difficult. The question is, did you check your player card immediately afterwards to see if you actually got the loss? Just because a game lost sync for whatever reason, doesn't mean your opponent was awarded the win.

Also was this on the beta version or regular? If it was on the beta version there is a thread on the main boards I believe where you can report such errors.

Regular.
Have CELO installed and almost always check the before and after the battle rank. So I am sure.
The other is the voice message "we lost..." after the synch error text message was shown.

I don't think it takes into account whether a player is winning or losing when they drop. If it did, it would be very easy to just drop from games where you have had a strong start and get the win.

i heard when you sync error, which is totally susceptible to user exploitation, you get a loss or win depending on your and your opponent's trust ratings (does a lot of sync error happen a lot in your games?) and whoever has the higher ranking etc etc.

It was first time I saw it for longer (weeks) time but it's true - game crashes with BugSplat message every 3-5 times. That's other issue.
It's bad I did not backup log from that game ....
Edit: but from other cases I remember that system can easily switch game master with other PC/IP in case the main PC drops.

Do both players even get a sync error with battle servers now?
I guess the sync error is between the player and the server and the other player just gets the win
