More L2P in the forums plz

How could you ever analyse that amount of rage.

Well, if the poster plays straight and hoists up the replay, as ofc he should - and if it discloses obvious faults - you do not have to analyse the whole vid. Many effective replay commentaries I have read, often start with a detailed commentary,squad by squad, pointing out the deficiencies as they occur, then tail off after approx 6 minutes, with something like " You lost 2 Rifles by this stage and you were always going to be on the back foot etc etc "

And there is nothing wrong with that - if a novice is faring poorly, it will help him, and if the analysis is objective and not spiteful - then almost always, the poster who erred will thank the critic. Which is how it should be. Practical advice,administered dispassionately. That is partly why this board exists.

His style is different to what I have I described -but you can see a positive mentor shining through.

L2P is not abusive its the thruth.

Goldraeder did not need to use this phrase with his Mentees. If he had even thought about it, I am pretty certain he would have rejected the phrase as "crushing". 'L2P' is abusive,in the same way as "noob" is abusive. Good players, confident in themselves, do not need to be so disparaging

I've never seen "L2P" used outside of trolling. I could troll the balance section with "L2P" shitposts if that's what you want

I would like to see more people going to the Strategy forums to ask for help when getting wtfpwned instead of complaining about balance.
I'm probably guilty of it myself, but I also try to make sure my first move is go to the strategy board and ask "How am I supposed to use my Sturmtiger?" or "What do I do against LMG Grens in large numbers?" or "What should I do about enemy armour when I'm using T1?"

As a default, I don't think I'm at a high enough level of this game that balance truly matters. Most of the time I lose it's due to something I did wrong or the opponent did right.

L2P is absolutely not ever a useful comment and I can't believe anyone is seriously advocating it here.

The forum has become a whiningplace for bad losers. If they lose they head directly for coh2.org to spill out the rage. A couple of months ago the answer in the forum would have been L2P. This may seem rude to some but in 99% of the cases its the truth. The whining make the game look worse than it is and takes the place of more interesting topics. I suggest that the L2P - phrase is taken up in a more serious way again.
