Hi, when i try to follow guides telling how to use mud in world builder i only get snow when i open heighmap editor and click edit top layer after clicking on mud in the prefrences thingy at atmosphere.

Be sure you have the "use mud" ticked on the terrain properties screen.
The game sees it as mud then but visually it still looks like snow. To make it look like mud go to atmosphere properties>weather and then to the snow section. Use textures named mud and then youre good to go.

Thank you for your reply! I got it now, but you got any tip on how to make it look nice the areas where the mud will be or? Yeah, im not the best person with mud i can see, cant really get it to look good into the map, i just make an area full of mud, i mean, example on hill 331 the mud there are so perfect put on the map, how would i do to make it look like on that map?

these are the exact settings from hill 331 for mud, hope this helps
Don't forget to place the "eastern mud' splats on top of the mud with the "over under snow" option, splats make mud look a lot better
