Would it be a bad idea to have a smoke discharge for the Jackson?

I don't know why USF vehicles seem to suffer so much from this. Sometims I get stupid crap like this with SU85 as well, but never with ostheer vehicles (yet).

When this happens the worst thing to do is to spam new reverse commands furiously

Often in a dire spot every other command will get the tank to rotate and every other would make it reverse, whereas panic spamming them makes it just wiggle around on the spot.

Shift queuing the commands properly, coh1 style helps a little - you can shift queue reverse commands as well

The problem is when you can see the way your command is being carried out will take too long, you have to intervene with multiple commands trying to figure out a quicker way. You can either lose it because it followed the command in a funny way, lose it from multiple commands confusing it, or keep the unit by successfully changing the original command to an easier one. So you may as well click frantically if you know it has gotten stuck on the first command.

if it starts spazzing out tell it to stop and then give very short orders.

They should increase the turning speed for medium tracked vehicles.

My pretty tiger tanks does this as well. And especially T34-85s do this to much.

Pathfinding is issue since beta of CoH2 and it was never fully fixed. I know it is not easy task to do but they had so much time already to fix it.

The thing is, if Tiger would do such thing, it will probably survive due to armor and health.
But if it's a Jackson then... :gimpy:
If USF have to rely on glass-cannon then pathfinding should be almost perfect for such vehicle.

Pathfinding was complained about since the release of CoH1, it's not an easy thing to fix.

COH1's pathfinding is fine ... I could reliably get my units to back up. In COH 2, my scout car will circle around in some obscene ballet even when shift queing reverse. The pathfinding for vehicles in this game is just so bad and unreliable in this game when this was simply not the case in vCOH.

Garden... I forgot to save a replay of that...
It's second time when my M20 was acting like on ICE.
It was reversing and suddenly made very strange looking dance on the ground. Like it was on the ice. Made almost 360 rotation in 1 sec and pushed back a little. I dont know how to descrive it better.. Of course chasing volks got my M20 with schrecks...
