Players who pre-order Blitzkrieg 3 will not only receive either a 10% discount on the Tactical Edition or 30% discount on the Strategic Edition of the game, they will also be automatically eligible to be among the first to get their hands on the game itself when the Closed Beta Testing launches this winter.

“We have high expectations for Blitzkrieg 3, for the game overall and particularly for its asynchronous multiplayer. We are striving to restore the interest in the RTS genre in general” commented Timur Suzi, Head of the Nival Studio in St. Petersburg.

Suzi continued, “The pre-order campaign is not only an opportunity for players to acquire exclusive in game content, but it's also the chance to take part in the closed beta test which will start this winter. This means that it is also an opportunity to take part in developing Blitzkrieg 3, since we will be finalizing the game based on the opinions and feedback of the closed-beta participants.”

Details on the Tactical Edition of Blitzkrieg 3:

Guaranteed access to the Closed Beta Testing

Full version of the game including three story campaigns, one each for the Allies, Axis and USSR

A unique in-game tank, dependent on faction, available in multiplayer

I enjoyed the first two Blitzkrieg games but it's a long time since I played them. I might give this a go when it's out. I wish we could tow our artillery pieces around the map in CoH2.

I just do not understand how they are going to show how they say "answer developers Company of heroes 2". Is that patriotic single, only to whom it should be? Need high-quality, tactical multilpeer balance punched / no penetration and shelter for soldiers. Why bother with this nonsense shareware game and asynchronous multi? While not playing, but it is something that I see clearly a few levels below the Company of Heroes 1 and 2.

I like the enviroment design a lot, it's very detailed :) I don't like the combat part tho, seems a bit too arcade for my tastes :p

I loved Blitzkrieg. But this game looks bullshit. Nothing left from the good old one.

Gameplay seems quite poor compare to Coh2. No micro except going back with damage tank, no? Like old Strat game
