vs fast flamer HT as Russians

Hi all,

having massive trouble against German fast flamer HT. They kill everything in seconds and I can't seem to find any early AT, as the infantry squads and AT guns are way too vulnerable. Any suggestions? Thanks!

As I wrote also in SEGA forums, guards into an M3 will totally destroy the flamer HT, you can kite it since the PTRS-D has longer range

3 Guards Rifles will kill all German tanks. Just make sure you win the infantry battles with your other units and the guards rifles will kill all tanks. Upgrade to machine gun to be able to button/slow enemy vehicles.

Guards are great for dealing with armor, backed up with at guns and your own armor even more so, as you can button and flank the enemy armor. If you have more than one guard squad you can chain button, which can really help kill the heavier German armor.

There really should be a better infantry based doctrinal anti armor call in unit like the US have in the original coh, and guards moved into one of the appropriate base buildings, so the soviets have a soft counter anti vehicle squad available to all commanders.

I wonder if any of the other Russian commanders have bazookas available to them on a unit that we haven't seen yet in beta. As they did have some on lease lend from the Usa during WWII.

They were received but they didn't see any real operational use. Did use alot of captured panzerfausts towards the end of the war though.

The German flamer half track never had it's damage reduced when they reduced the other flamethrowers units damage a few patch's back, and it damage is too high, but it should not be made a useless upgrade like the original coh version.

Possibly a little damage reduction and making the half track itself not immune to small arms fire would help.

It actually isn't immune to small arms fire anymore, just highly resistant. Conscripts can sometimes kill it with their normal rifles if it has low health. HMGs do decent damage to it as well.

The Wehr HT also takes decent damage from the Russian scout car's main weapon. I drove a flame HT through two Scout cars with flamers inside and the combined damage took me down to half health in about 5 seconds.

This won't happen because it would require redoing the model, but I think flame HT would be great if it worked exactly the same way except it only had one flamethrower.
