"Another bridge chokepoint map!?" you might think when you see the mapname, but that is not my intention! 2v2 has always been my favourite gamemode and I prefer the more open Vaux Farmlands and Moscow Outskirts maps so I knew sort of what kind of map I wanted to make.

The map is set in the fall in western Europe and features several landmarks such as a ruined castle, a mansion and an idyllic trainstation.



More images can be found on the workshop page along with a description.

Right now the map is mostly done except for details on the outskirts of the map so I would like to focus on how the game plays. Map is made for 2v2 with support for 3v3

Issues & Concerns

  • Is the size correct for a 2v2?
  • The big mansion can be entered from 2 sides but only the north door works as exit
  • Both upper doors of the buildings at the munition points don't work
  • Bullets and shells go through the ground at the middle VP due to height differences
  • Is the water in the middle too annoying?
  • Do you like the shotblocker in the VP or should I move all the capzone to the road?

Wow great work. I prefer 2v2 too. Maybe a 2-4 more capturezones and channel the fight away from the corners. Keep doing good and Relic could feature a map of yours in the autopool.

Thanks, but what do you mean by 2-4 more capturezones? I'd like to stick to the 10strat points that relic uses.
I'll see what I can do to move 2point s abit further away from the corners

-Small pathing improvements
-Added support for 3v3
-Moved the top and bottom strat point closer to the middle

Progress have been slow last weeks but I'm currently redesigning the mansion on the left to make it play better and adding more cover at teh sparse areas on the outskirts.

With a big update coming soon to my map adding lots of details all over the map I decided to finally make a good loading screen. Now I took a bunch of screenshots with jannes awesome mod but cant decide exactly which image to take:

I think i like #5 the most with teh tiger pushing. the later pictures are good too but have a rifleman clippin through the truck

So I just updated the map, redesigned the mansion area and added tons of pathing improvements and details in general!
But i really want some feedback on how the map plays. most of my steam friends stopped playing coh2 (permanently) so it is hard to get a proper 2v2 going.
So if youre interested please let me know here or add me on steam. EU evenings are th ebest time :)
