Reinstalled CoH last night to get warmed up for CoH2. Decided id try to record a bit with fraps, but noticed that the FPS indicator that is displayed while in game wasn't showing up (it was working in other games). I hit F9 to test recording a movie with fraps and when i checked it, i found that it had recorded a black screen with only the mouse visable and voice. Ive done a quick search but can't find anything.
Im using the latest version of fraps and im playing CoH OP through steam....
Any help would be appreciated!

Fraps is apparently not recognizing CoH when its started, are you using any commands on the shortcut you use to launch CoH?
Try also updating or downgrading your fraps version, some versions are alot more unstable then others.
I can't really say for sure what it is cause it can be a variety of things.

No commands, just starting the game with the steam shortcut.

Maybe try to re-install fraps (different version perhaps?) and also make sure you have 'Monitor Aero Desktop' unticked and other options like that which might interfere with fraps picking up the 'CoH-window'.

Happend to me sometimes aswell.
Alternative 1: Exit CoH then go over to record antoher game.- then go over to CoH after a little time.
Alternative 2: Restart Fraps.
Alternative 3: Restard Computer.
If none of these works you'll have to ask FRAPS for support service.
