I know this is a noob question but here goes: why are the starting locations in automatch always reversed?
I play as USF and on Semoskiy for example, I always start at the north. I always played as US in vCoH so it's quite difficult for me to have to suddenly change.
Or is it because these are the new starting locations for the Western Front Armies?
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

In automatch there are no fixed starting locations. You have the same chance to play in the north as USF or as OKW
In custom match you can set the locations

They are not reversed, they are always random.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Ok thanks guys. It just seems to always be the case for me - I have played 4 or 5 games on Semoskiy as USF and every one started me in the north...
