MG42 is exactly the same. 0 changes in the file.

Just tried it against AI and the OP seems to exaggerate. Yes, it is better than it was before, but it seems to be just those 40% as mentioned in the change log. It doesn't instantly suppress, sometimes it still takes more than a burst, and it still won't resetup in lightning speed as the Maxim does.

Last night I had a game in which I managed to secure both MG34 and Maxim at the same time and they performed in a similar way with Maxim having better set up time and stuff.

Good, it finally does its job, preventing mindless blobs of riflemen. I really never had issues with MGs suppressing fast, just the wide arc only concerned me. Hopefully the MG42 gets some love because the gunner always procrastinates thanks to its slow aim time.

The new MG34 really put's the MG42 to shame, MG42 seems to be worst MG in the game now (except maybe DDShK but I rarely see those so I can't comment)

I really wished they would just switch the model of the MG 34 and 42 around, atleast on OH Grenadiers and OKW Obersoldaten.

The MG42 was just the superior weapon, makes no sense that the MG34 in this game outclases it in so many points.

I was pretty underwhelmed with mg34 prior to the patch. Enemy infantry would just kill the crew from the front nearly every time. I'll have to revisit them.

The MG34 was liked more by the Wehrmacht than the MG42. Anyway, the Oberkommando West is meant to be the German Army late 1944, heck that is why they should have problems with the collpasing economy, but good stuff. Instead of a normal Panther (Ausf. A for Wehrmacht probably) the Ausf. G would make sense, for the Elite Armor Doctrine, instead of the normal Panzer IV a Panzer IV Ausf. H with standard armored skirts etc would also make sense. Also instead of MG34 (that was replaced by that time) the MG42 should be on the OKW and MG34 on Wehrmacht.
