It does good damage to most tanks, M10, MJ, Sherman, etc
You can't get close to it with at before it kills all the units.
Therefore it is op.

Try not leading an idiotic blob of infantry at it? It can only shoot in one direction, and if you approach from several directions, most of your squads will be firing at it unopposed.

It cant change targets,like Rifles said you can come from many directions.
Also You can use an Arty barrage,and then quickly fire at it with an explosive to destroy it rapidly. sometimes it destroys the truck outright wiht one barrage

Yeah, just confirmed - it definitely targets whatever you want it to. Oh, well. So much for my rifles + demo charge idea.

It is great at locking down territory against infantry, but cmon, OP? Attack ground into the fog of war if it's being defended.
I love poking my head in with Jackson and AT gun and then dropping an arty on it. Time on target from the Infantry Company is my favorite for this.

The 120mm mortar for the Soviets makes short work of it and every other OKW tech building. I just ground attack through the fog of war.

.... What can I say, really. HQ behave like non microed MG. It just fire at closest target. And no, you cannot target what you want, you just put relly points. And US Mechanized 155mm kill any OKW building at 1 barage

Herp derp. You're right, I'm wrong. I misinterpreted "Switches to target the squad that's closing in" for "Switch to target the squad the enemy wants to target". My bad.

pathfinders scout/AT gun/jackson, major arty ability, rifleman smoke/para demo, m8 scott, pack hoitzer, time on target barrage, riflemen smoke/ass engy demo, smoke bulldozer direct fire. pretty much every doctrine can counter it and standard units.
