Soul Calibur II HD

THIS. I used to play SC2 in regional tourneys with some moderate success, years ago. Man those were the days... My fav fighting game ever, makes me wanna buy PS3 just to play it ;)
Also VF5 is pretty awesome, too bad hardly anyone plays it in Europe and there are no tourneys at all :(

Finally played SF4 arcade on my PC. Used to be pretty good at it back when SF released until SSF4. Played around 10 games and lost 9 (quit after my first win :D )but not sore about it, just happy to see that the PC Community for the game was reasonably active!

Looking forward to Ultra coming out on PC at the same time it's hitting the consoles. Also GFWL will be removed and the game will be using steamworks instead.

I was surprised and annoyed to see GFWL as usual.

It's kinda cool that, since I haven't played the game in around 3 years, I've forgotten pretty much Everything that made me good at the game. I've also forgotten what most of the characters do despite spending 300+ hours on Street fighter between 2008-2010. Right now I'm pretty much playing the game as if I've never played it Before and having a bunch of fun doing it. ^_^

The game has changed so much since 2010 ( not just because of updates because of certain play styles emerging and people learning the game better)

Are you playing AE2012 or just vanilla?

AE2012. Got in around 15 games early this morning (so addicting)lost 12 or so of them. Improvements are being made tho, and my hand isn't hurting as bad as yesterday. x)

I'm surprised of not seeing any Ryu, Ken or Sagats yet. Back in 08-09 that's all I ever played against. Currently I've played against Juri for at least half of the games played.

Very good news for the smash scene
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/smash-bros/446516-liquid-smash-brothers-melee

Who'd have thought team liquid would have a competitive team for a game primarily designed as a party game and a litigious publisher. It's cool to see the fruits of 100% community driven efforts. It should give all of us hope that we alone can achieve a lot without any developer assistance.

I just watched that video. It was actually a really cool video. It's exciting to see the possibilities and what people have managed to do for a game that was proclaimed as a casual game.

It really shows that all games can be competitive and thrive as an e-sports, as long as the community organization/effort and the interest is there.

It's been 15 years since Street Fighter III: Third Strike was released. Post your favourite matches! (No Diago Parry vids!)
