I have been looking for info on NIS. Is NIS basically cinematics? I want to try and set up some off-map action, in other words, have AI perform functions unrelated to map objectives, purely for effect. Does anyone know how/where I need to start? Would I set this up through NIS or using NIS and Scar coding?
A couple of examples of what I would like to do is say having a Stuka fly by and have like AI troops (separate from the troops I give commands to, but on my side, in my base) shooting at it off map. Or trucks driving in a "loop" around my base. Or maybe the sound of planes going by and have the Russian half-track with the AA guns shooting towards the sky, then the plane crashes somewhere on the map...
That's the basic idea of some cinema I would like to create, problem is: I don't know how lol, or where to start.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
As always, Thank You All!!!

I have question regarding NIS ( I think?) and/or cinematics.

NIS animations are the cinematic parts of the Singleplayer missions, where the footage is in-game. Some ToW mission ending camera movement is probably also implemented with NIS.
