when you have your medic squad at your HQ, or have a medic squad hanging around your major, i find a big problem is when you're selecting a big bunch of your infantry units that retreated to that area you also select the medic, or the ambo, and then in the heat of the battle you accidently send him away to get focus fired down by obersoldaten

i propose that the medic squad and the ambo shouldn't be able to be selected when you click-drag select with other units.

anyone agree?

That sounds way more annoying than helpful.

You can shift+click their icon in the unit select menu to remove them from what's selected.

Do you use control groups at all? ? If not I would suggest using them. Easier to move sets of units away from your major.
