Some OKW commanders let the Sturmpioneers build trenches. For real? First we get Kangaroo Carrier M3s in vanilla CoH 2 and now British Trenches are back? I used to think I supported the legalization of marijuana and other drugs in the United States but now I'm afraid of people getting their hands on whatever it is that Relic is smoking because it clearly drives you batshit insane.

With grenades,pack howitzers and soviet flame,satchel,don't think this will be a huge problem.Camping is not a necessity for okw after trucks being independent of resource system.

They've taken a lot of ideas from Brits it seems. Trucks for HQ buildings, the LT/Captain system for teching, trenches, slow infantry movement (through deep snow), etc.

Trenches have been in since the Osttruppen Commander came out, and then they were in Defensive Doctrine too.

The trenches provide standard building cover, they are the same as fighting pits and bunkers. No where near as crazy as the trench bonuses from vcoh.

Yeah they're actually quite terrible against Soviets because Conscripts and Penal Troops both carry their direct counters.
