LOL Moonchild, quote the whole paragraph please....

This skill based Tournament is open only to legal residents of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, and United Kingdom that are thirteen years of age or older, legal residents of Spain that are fourteen years of age or older, legal residents of Germany, and Norway that are fifteen years of age or older and legalresidents of Sweden that are sixteen years of age or older as of May 20, 2014 (each an “Entrant”).

Still sucks for Italian players like Marcus. :(

2 days, already have over 100 sign-ups for Europe, and over 50 for North America. This is why community events need to be shown on the front page of CoH2 in-game every time an event has been planned.

Well I was thinking of making a comeback if this continues but for now Quebec residents are not eligible, we have strict laws for any kind of contests :(

But I hope that Relic will support and continue with these types of events and also properly balance the game for them, that will put COH back on the right path and eventually I will find a way to play in these events :D

I'll use the tournaments in the meantime to warm up like a pro golfer, go on a strict diet (no booze) and come tourny time, i'll be in tip top form...

Oh wait, Worldcup starts soon, scratch all of the above ;)

But i'll be there!

This is so stupid,I am truly disappointed..It's a shame that in 2014 there are still such barriers that prevent people from taking part into international events :(

That's what he told me. I think he was too drunk after Madrid won

pretty sure the copied some stuff from ipkai's ESL rules that is probably why

i don't think that makes it any better ;-)

neither the "copy/pasting rules from another tournament because i'm too lazy.... fuck it" part, nor the "but the other tourney has typos too!!!!!111111oneoneeleven" part... but i guess thats just me :-P

anyways, encouraging news to have such a highly prized tourney with different timezones too, let's just hope it's better organized than it seems to have been planned ;-)

I have no experience with tournies, so forgive my ignorance. I have a couple of questions about the tournament schedule. 1) when will the opponents be published? I registered and have everything filled out. In the schedule however, you cannot see who your opponent is for the first round.
2) from the game rules:
Registration for the Tournament will be open from May 20, 2014 at 5:00 PM CEST through June 5, 2014 at approximately11:59 PM CEST. Entrants must create a free CEVO online personal user account or log into their existing CEVO account. Each Entrant must submit the Tournament registration form on the Tournament website at http://cevo.com/event/coh2-awa (the “Entry”).

There is no fee to register or compete in the Tournament. Entrants will be guaranteed an Entry on a first come, first servedbasis until Tournament registration closes or the maximum number of 64 Entrants is met.

Currently however, there are 175 contestants in the Europe league. According to the rules above, everyone above 64 will not be able to compete? Is that true. I am within the first 64 and I will be the first to admit that I am a filthy casual, so am I keeping a spot for a better player now?

first 64 sign ups will be in brackets and then no-shows will be replaced with next players.

Brackets will be probably posted tomorrow, some mins/hours before tourney starts
