Uses of Puma?

Anyone know exactly what these are good for? It doesn't seem to fill any good roles against soviets except for pestering t34s and half tracks, but then again you can get a p4 out by 6 CP's it's still more effective. Any one know the strengths and weaknesses of this unit?

Spam them vs armour , their gun is very effective, and their manouverablility combine with smoke gives them survivability.. Just withdraw damaged ones, enemy cannot chase through other pumas.
Target weak point just makes them ridiculous as they can easily and quickly mob any heavy vehicle and against medium tanks trying to reposition this is just an instant kill.
You will want good micro, like with any 'light' vehicle, but these can pretty much deny enemy armour use. They will need to spam ZiS to counter.
It's other obvious use is with heavy t1/2 to skip to T4. But T4 isn't the best right now.

The advantage I see with the puma is that it's a call-in like the Panzer IV Command tank with target weak point.
It has good penetration (160) and 120 damage. It's a good flanking vehicle thanks to its speed.
I don't however, like to build it as the main force. I prefer stugs/panzer IVs as they are more cost effective overall. But the puma can supplement them well by giving them a fast flanker without any build time that can stun tanks.

Pumas are great, Their price and CP kinda miss leads them for their role. Use them in conjunction with other forms of AT and to flank. I also like getting them to support a P4 or a Stug or to rid me of a pesky early vehicle such as a T70 or M5

Pumas are the best, and with vet very deadly vs soviet armor. Can easly flank assault guns, and maneuver around t-34 till' it rotates its gun. Only real treat are AT guns, ptrs and Sherman
P.S. 2xPumas vs 2xT-34s i won that battle with some micro even thou AT gun was near

The Pumas in coh 2 are different to those in coh1 these Pumas are good against armor and have good range and penetration they should be used in large numbers and used to flank as they can outmanouver almost any tank, however they have fragile armor so u must shoot and move.
Pumas are good at countering mid game Soviet vehicles such as t-70 or halftracks and can even be effective in the late game if you Microsoft them properly
They are however lacklustre against infantry so if the Soviet player gets guards it may be difficult for Pumas to show their value

I watched some 1v1 games from Giap and DanielD where they used two pumas together with a command tank. It is a strong combination for making hit-and-run attacks. The pumas are strong against vehicles and the command tank is strong versus infantry and provides buffs to the pumas.

Puma is best used to counter T-34 horde, especially if the Soviet player goes Industry, Puma just dance around or snipe poor T-34s from afar.

CaptainSPrice actually countered 2 T34-85s with 3 Pumas against me 
Was on Crossing in the Woods though, where if you micro them carefully you can keep them at a certain range where Pumas can hit the T34s, but the T34s cant hit the Pumas.

puma hard counters soviet T4.
Puma is one of the few things that my Su-76 can reliably damage. SU-76 + Guard = Puma shutdown.
