Slightly breaking NDA (but not really)

Like everyone I'm eager to put my hand on COH2, checking forums several times a day only to find the now usual "my enlighten point of view based on nothing" battle.

So, I can't help myself but ask about real and actual facts; those who played alpha, could you sum up in the most vague and legit form possible your point of view ?

Already red the [removed by 12azor] preview and found it great; anything to add ? Confident about the lifespan of COH2 ? Were you thrilled by novelty or was it like COH1.5 ? Is my english good ?

Just general feeling that don't break the holy NDA please.

As I've said in other places I'll reserve judgement until after the BETA but I'm quietly confident so far.

I was thoroughly impressed! When the beta comes, I'll be as happy as a child on christmas eve, I've missed that game since the alpha was ended.
For me, it was a CoH with everything I could ever dream of, and I had a lot of epic moments with the new True Sight and Cold Tech - it just works so good and feels so right, imo!

This is the comment that has me optimistic. I know Razor as someone who is a true student of CoH as well as a hell of a player. He has also been critical of Relic in the past when he felt they have made mistakes.

As he says, we'll just all have to reserve judgement till after the BETA.

Right now, imo the game's focus is not enough on early (infantry) game, as you can tech too fast. But it definitely has potential :D

Like 12azor I am withholding judgment until the beta, the alpha really didn't have enough to make any decision one way or another. There's a lot of stuff that's worse than CoH, like the UI, but even that might get fixed for all we know.

I can also say that various Relic guys have said there have been a lot of changes since the Alpha and we'll be pleased with them.

Joke's on us, they actually moved Staghounds to T2. But they replaced them with Kangaroo Carriers.

Personally, I was impressed by the quality of development, bug wise.
The game was really stable for an alpha version, hell, it was more stable than DOW2 vanilla at launch.

oh, and god bless relic for reverse command.

If you're that much of a grammar nazi, then how could you possibly write "you're English is OK"???
It's back to the Oatmeal's poster for you I'm afraid...
