I played Scheldt with two mates for years and we never cheated.

I would still blame you. Maybe I wouldn't blame an 8 year old.... but 16... I dunno dude, your a young adult not a silly kid.
I can presume it was very easy to d/l the MH, but really that was your choice. Relic never forced you to do it.

I just wanna point out if tarnished reputation is a punishment for any of these players, if they really wanted to continue playing CoH2 without being called out as a known cheater, they could simply use the new Steam library share option, which allows you to grant access to your entire library on another steam account so long as you give it permission. For CoH2, this actually gives you a fresh CoH2 stats sheet, and a new name to boot. When you play automatch, its treated as a fresh account and you have to re-do your provisional games. You can still use all the commanders you purchased on your main account, however the account starts from a fresh rank so bulletins have to be re-earned.

So really, all this did was force those players to ditch their favorite alias as they know it. I'm guessing in future when bans do go out for future cheaters, shared CoH2 accounts will both be banned from automatch? Because currently the family-share feature completely bypasses this punishment, unless of course they really loved their alias.

Very interesting, so I can play some of my friends' games without buying them if they allow me? How is this done?

Yes, the catch is only one person can be playing the shared games at one time.

You'll have to be on LAN as far as I know.

This is the only restriction in regards to online sharing and the location of each person.

All DLC is also shared, so in the case of CoH2, access to all commanders.

I was in level 16 in all four faction, both 1v1 and 2v2, still played Scheldt with friends. :p

It was a nice way relaxing, grabbing chips and bomb the whole fucking axis base with 453654365436543 105 / 25p.

people are different there is no 1 size fits all. who says being mature is part of being a certain age. ive seen 30-40 year olds act like 5-8 year olds and vice a verse.

Seems like a good time for a bump. I'm not going to post up the list but the moderators on the official forums received notification of 85 members banned for map hacking. I didn't think map hacking was possible but I was very very wrong.
