It is still a fine upgrade even mid/gate game to protect your MGs/PaK4s from shock/con flanks.

Also, it is more lethal this patch - way too lethal to come as early as it used to.

+1

@RAZ: so because its not blatantly OP its useless? :( 222 and grens are to good/OP so its not worth the investment.

also BIASED POLE!!! :( cmon man...

Yeah, there were no changes to it in DPS. But there seem to be hidden vet changes, I have pulled it out once or twice in team games and it is definitely vetting faster. At Vet 2 it becomes quite scary.

Why build a halftrack when you can build another gren?

You may want to reinforce your other grens!!

I don´t think it´s underperforming. I neither faced a flame HT nor built a flame HT since the latest patch.

It just comes too late. At that point (Tier 3) you are usually better off with Schrecks as Germans.

When you have 8 squads of 'em, there is no need to reinforce on the field. Just retreat the few that are low and fill in the holes with the rest. Rinse, repeat.

I haven't really needed it since last patch. And for protecting support weapons it's just to much of an investment for such a fragile unit. There are other units available that do job, and they are cheaper...

Seems kind of late at T3, if you intend to use it in the same role as past patches. If they're determined to keep it at T3, then I think they should lower the munitions cost, its just way too vulnerable at that point in the game to justify 120 munitions.

Its still good unit, no one builds FHT because why build it when you can build sc222? comes earlier, great killing power and cheaper investment.
I still see HT, but mainly for reinforcing and quick troop transport .
