Propaganda leaflet dropped by RAF Bomber Command over Germany in 1942. The leaflet comically shows Hermann Goering, head of the German Luftwaffe, and his supposed reaction to aerial warfare. Happy at the German raids against European cities during the early days of the war which changes to fear and anguish of the retaliatory RAF bombing of German cities.
British propaganda leaflet dropped over Essen (Germany) after a RAF bombing raid in March 1943. The main title says "Fortress Europa has no roof". Imperial War Museum, London.

bombing of Dresden
3-faced man:
I find this story rather sad as his tale isn't told enough although partially brought to light in the film Mai Wei. Yang Kyoungjong was a Korean man who was conscripted into the Imperial army in 1939 and was captured by Soviet forces in the battle of Khalkhin Gol. Due to manpower shortages he and thousands of other POWs were conscripted into the Red Army in 1941 and was sent to the Eastern Front to fight the Wermacht. In 1943, Yang was captured by the Germans in Ukraine and was then sent to the Western Front.
In 1944 he was present during D-Day where he was captured and sent to a POW camp in the UK. After the war he emigrated to the US where he died peacefully in Illinois in 1992
