Hey I need help for Red Army's Partisan's Tactic

Well, you need to use them for harassment, not direct assaults.

Partisans get progressively worse the more people there are in a game. I don't use them outside of 1v1 because harassment heavy play isn't feasible in team games, where every player only needs to guard a few sectors.

Is there anyone that uses Partisan Tactics in higher level play effectively? It'd be cool to see some good replays.

it's a near useless doctrine. needs a buff. won't get a buff, because weren't not creating threads with 30,000 views about it, when we start complaining en masse it'l get a buff, then get overbuffed and become a OP doctrine. then everyone'l need to spend $2 to stay competitive on the soviet meta.

Partisans can be incredibly effective. You should not expect them to be your main infantry, but rather use them to surprise unsupported units. I use them quite frequently in 3v3 and 4v4, and to great effect. There are a few things to keep in mind:

1. They do not hold their own against grens. Don't bother.
2. Spamming too many hurts you more than helps you.
3. Did I mention they don't hold up to grens? Or pios for that matter.

They are best used to pop up behind unsupported weapon teams. PPSH is best, followed by SVT (Penal rifles), and then LMG. They benefit from upgrading Molotovs and AT grenades. I prefer a 4 con start, molotovs, at nades, and then use partisans.

They are not effective on every map. You need maps with ample buildings, especially when there are buildings deep in enemy territory. Some examples of when to use partisans:

An enemy mortar is unsupported behind the lines.
A machine gun is pinning your troops.
An AT Gun is preventing your tank advance.
A nearly dead vehicle is pulling back to repair.
Destroying a Panzerwerfer (They are very effective at this)
Destroying Opel trucks.

A thought occurred to me earlier tonight that I did not confirm, but if a partisan squad has 1 model left, instead of reinforcing, merge conscripts into the squad to gain extra health (again, not confirmed if this really works).

Just don't expect them to do the work for you. Use them strategically. Do not spawn them into overwhelming odds. If you use them in 3v3 or 4v4, you should focus on supporting teammates by flanking MGs when they advance.

I think they have their niche... But you have to play them very well in order to exploit your enemy.
