How to deal with maxims?

Use a sniper to counter maxims, they should do well. Other than that get a FHT and try to flank them.

Whoever said rifle nades is the counter is wrong. Sure sometimes if he is bunched up in cover you might get 4-5 kills, but its still pretty common to only get 1 or 2 (RNG ftw?). If he isn't bunched up then don't even bother. So the early game answer has to be something like mortar or sniper, or if you are feeling lucky you can try something like flanking with PGrens or FHT which gives you a higher chance of killing off the squad but if he has his flank covered by another Maxim or AT gun then you're gonna have a bad time. Assault Grens probably work well since you can field more of them than PGrens, but I personally haven't tried since I don't have that P2W commander.

If you keep using riflenades the maxim will eventually blow up since most forget to repair it
